STRATEGYEDGE is an annual flagship initiative of the CII that features some of the world’s renowned thought leaders on Strategy and Innovation sharing the latest insights with the Indian business community. The successive editions of the Masterclass have been attended by over 1500 delegates from across India and beyond.
2022
Martin Reeves
The 7th edition of STRATEGYEDGE was organized in partnership with the BCG Henderson Institute, the strategy think-tank of the Boston Consulting Group. Martin Reeves, Chairman, BCG Henderson Institute conducted an in-depth virtual masterclass on the theme “The Evolving Art of Strategy”.
In this masterclass, Martin shared insights from his bestselling books "Your Strategy Needs A Strategy" and "The Imagination Machine", showing how to adapt an organization's approach to strategy to its strategic environment, and how to systematically harness imagination to generate new ideas and transform its business. This masterclass provided the guide one needs to craft winning strategies and to demystify and operationalize the power of imagination.

The 6th edition of STRATEGYEDGE featured two of the world's foremost thinkers - Rita McGrath and Alex Osterwalder. The theme of the session was Building invincible companies with leaders who see around corners.
Rita McGrath
Rita McGrath is a best-selling author, a sought-after advisor and speaker, and a long-time professor at Columbia Business School. Rita is one of the world’s top experts on strategy and innovation and is ranked No. 2 on Thinker50. McGrath’s recent book on strategic inflection points is Seeing Around Corners: How to Spot Inflection Points in Business Before They Happen. Rita is the author of four other books, including the best-selling The End of Competitive Advantage.

Dr. Alexander Osterwalder is one of the world’s most influential innovation experts, a leading author, entrepreneur, and in-demand speaker. Ranked No. 4 of the top 50 management thinkers worldwide, Alex is the inventor of the Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, and Business Portfolio Map – practical tools which have changed the way established companies do business and how new ventures get started.
